The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks, Morrison, CO.
Last weekend felt like a week. This was my early birthday present, and let me tell you: the Avett Bros do NOT disappoint. And Joe Kwon is the likely most badass cellist on the planet.
And Red Rocks is relatively magical as well, but it’s no barn in the middle of WI or IA.

Lake Isabelle in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area.
We finally made it here after one snow-filled, failed attempt in early June. The lake was lacking, but I personally found it a more interesting scene that way.
